Yes, we think walking tours are a great way for children to engage with a new place. Keep in mind that we do discuss the recent wars, so you may want to consider this if you plan on bringing your children with you on the tour. The War(s) Tour will go in more depth on this topic than the Free Walking Tour.
Children under the age of 12 are free on our private tours. Children ages 12 – 17, accompanied by parents or guardians, are half price.
Yes! We believe our tours can be a powerful educational tool. If you would like to arrange a tour for your group, please contact us directly and we will work with you to arrange an appropriate tour and special group pricing.
Our Free Walking Tours are entirely tip-based. You pay only what you feel your experience walking with us is worth and what you can afford. We receive a wide range of tips and in a variety of currencies. We aim to provide you a quality experience, but one that is accessible to all travelers, regardless of their budget.
We love sharing pictures of our tour groups on social media! Send us your pictures and we will post them for you, complete with a shout out to you on our page. If you prefer, you can also add pictures to our Trip Advisor page from your personal account or tag us from your personal page!
At Sheva Walking Tours, we like to maintain transparency. You are welcome to record the tour; however, we ask that you notify/ask us prior to the tour. This is common courtesy and standard practice for researchers, journalists, and bloggers. More importantly, our guests may not want to be recorded and we feel it is respectful to give them the ability to decline audio and/or visual recording.
You can leave a review in a number of places: Trip Advisor, Facebook, Google Business, and FreeTour.com as well as other booking platforms. At the conclusion of the tour, we will give you a business card that makes leaving a review fast and easy. Thanks for the reviews – we appreciate it!
The local currency is Konvertible Mark (KM). ATMs are located throughout town and there is an exchange kiosk in Kujundziluk. Currently, we are cash-only, but for your convenience, we are working on taking major credit and debit cards for the future.
Because Herzegovina summers can be hot, we recommend a bottle of water and hat. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes and don’t forget your camera! While winter’s are relatively mild, the Mostarian wind can chill the bones! Be sure to bundle up appropriately for winter tours and wear water proof shoes during heavy rains.
